Bachelor of Accountancy with Honours is being administered in collaboration with our Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur (IUKL).
This programme aims to produce competent and dedicated accountants who possess the attributes and skills required in the accounting profession and to develop a holistic understanding of business operations, particularly in all functional areas of accounting. This programme offers specific knowledge of accounting, finance, taxation, auditing, costing, management and economics. Through Industrial Placement at established corporations, students will be able to have valuable hands-on experience in real-life working environments. The programme is recognised by professional bodies such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia and Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA).

Intake: January, April, June, September
Duration: 3 years 6 months
i. A pass in STPM, with a minimum Grade C (GP 2.00) in any 2 subjects, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level or any equivalent qualification.
ii. A pass in STAM with a minimum grade of jayyid, and a pass in Mathematics and English at SPM level.
iii. Any qualifications equivalent to Diploma or Advanced Diploma (level 4 or 5, MQF)
iv. Matriculation/ Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification.
v. International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS or its equivalent.
Students must complete a total of 139 credits in order to be awarded the Bachelor of Accountancy.
Exemption for Professional Examination
Graduates with the Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) from NIIT will be qualified for the following exemptions
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – 9 papers
F1 Accountant in Business, F2 Management Accounting, F3 Financial Accounting, F4 Corporate & Business Law, F5 Performance Management, F6 Taxation, F7 Financial Reporting, F8 Audit and Assurance, F9 Financial Management
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – 6 papers
C1 Fundamentals of Management Accounting, C2 Fundamentals of Financial Management, C3 Fundamentals of Business Mathematics, C4 Fundamentals of Business Economics, C5 Fundamentals of Ethics, Corporate Governance and Business Law, F1 Financial Operations
The Institute Professional Stage Examination, Malaysia Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA)
Module A (Module A consists of): Financial Accounting and Taxation, Business and Company Law, Management Information and Control
Certified Practising Accountants (CPA) Australia – 6 papers
All subjects at foundation level is exempted
The graduates will be able to seek career opportunities such as accountant, auditor, and finance executor in professional firms as well as at government departments and statutory bodies. The graduates of this programme will also have the opportunity to further their studies to a Master in related fields at both local and private universities.
