This programme is designed to equip students with marketing knowledge and skills to solve marketing problems in a systematic manner. The students will be familiarizing with the marketing process, the marketing mix, marketing strategy and ways to manage customer relationships that are beneficial to an organization and its shareholders.

Duration: 2 years  

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(i) A pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits or its equivalent; OR

(ii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or its equivalent; OR

(iii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR

(iv) A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject; OR

(v) A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in any 3 subjects; OR

(vi) A pass in NIIT Certificate in Business or its equivalent

PROGRAMMES MODULES

Students must complete a total of 90 credits in order to be awarded the Diploma in Marketing. They must pass all 27 courses prescribed as MPU Compulsory Courses, College Compulsory Courses, Programme Core Courses and Core Courses.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

The graduates of this programme will be able to obtain positions such as marketing assistants and other administration roles or customer sales and sales support working in the marketing divisions.

The graduates of this programme will also have the opportunity to further their studies to a Bachelor Degree in related fields at both local and private universities.
