Start Your Diploma in Actuarial Finance
This programme is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills to enter the actuarial profession as well as to prepare them for the professional examinations that will lead them to be a qualified actuary or specialist in the financial risk and insurance industries. During their studies, students can attempt the examinations conducted by professional bodies such as Society of Actuaries, Casualty Actuarial Society and Canadian Institute of Actuaries. Throughout their studies, students will be expected to learn various courses that apply mathematical and statistical techniques in the financial world.

Intake: January, April, June, September
Duration: 2 years
(i) A pass in SPM with a minimum of 3 credits or its equivalent; OR
(ii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject or its equivalent; OR
(iii) A pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Maqbul; OR
(iv) A pass in Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in any 3 subjects or its equivalent; OR
(v) A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject; OR
(vi) A pass in NIIT Certificate in Business or its equivalent
Students must complete a total of 90 credits in order to be awarded the Diploma in Actuarial Finance. They must pass all 27 courses prescribed as MPU Compulsory Courses, Programme Core Courses and Core Courses.
The programme prepares students for exciting careers in the corporate sector, insurance sectors, risk management, financial industry and government agencies.
The graduates of this programme can have the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor Degree in related field at both local and private universities.
